NABCEP Associate PV Credential

Our employees hold the NABCEP Associate PV Credential - often reputed to be a tougher test than the electrician’s licence! The NABCEP accreditation gives us the photovoltaic (I.e. solar) knowledge base to size your system, calculate solar system voltages and current (and not fry your solar equipment), and help you think through all of the other factors that could affect your installation.

From the NABCEP Website: The NABCEP Associate credential demonstrates that an individual has knowledge of the fundamental principles of the application, design, installation, and operation of PV energy systems. It is globally recognized and serves as an indicator of competence in the solar industry. The credential requires a minimum of 18 hours of coursework, and a score of 80% or higher on the qualifying exam.
